Christian inspiration in contemporary Serbian poetry

The subject of our research in this paper are aspects religious spirituality contemporary Serbian poetry. First, we give an overview poetic, ideological and cultural characteristics poetic production the last three decades, with certain value categorizations. We then direct attention to individual poetics poets born seventies eighties, whose poetry has a proven presence Christian inspiration. Our goal is establish literary-historical culturally distinct flow situate it within History Modern Contemporary literature, predominantly secular. focus analysis not exclusively quotes, narratives or motifs from Bible patristic literature. examine how (Serbian-Byzantine Western-Christian) participates formation view world, as well that manifests itself through images, expressions figures. interested work consciousness shaping their artistic, moral attitudes towards phenomena epoch, but also culture which they belong. Therefore, analyse models these embrace poetry, humanistic messages place immanent poetics. come conclusion male female poets, spiritual commitment, have taken risk deciding up form social engagement, aware advance burden alternative minority.
